International Women's Day has been an important mark each year as it passes by. Firstly, Clara Zetkin from Germany petitioned for International Women's Day. She was the first activist who created the mission to help, respect, and raise struggling women. 


She gave the appeal to the international conference of employed women in Copenhagen. Hence, the European people began their celebration of the special day of women in 1911. Did you know the colors purple and green have been the symbol of women ever since?

When is International Women's Day celebrated?

Women's Day falls on the day of 8th March every year around the globe. It happens to be a day to observe the rights of women starting from their home, society, and economically too. She should have a voice in every single household, in the nation, and the world.


Not only that but we must create awareness against brutal behaviors, and mental/physical/emotional abuse. We should treat women as an individual human and give them space, options, and opportunity in all.

The women’s achievements happen to be tremendously big and we can't say in a line. However, we need to have a day to celebrate, recognize, and honor their endeavors. Additionally, women's day has been marked for women's establishments in various fields. 


Likewise, they have made their way into the social sector, financial, political, educational, and so on. On this wonderful day of women, we should provide more equal rights to women. We as humans still see the troubles women face on a day-to-day basis.


Men on the other hand must participate in the social and civil movement of women's rights. Indeed, every man needs to support the woman in life such as a friend, wife, sister, or mother.

They just don't belong in the kitchen alone and sure can stand up for any occasion. She became an inspiration and battled for womanism.
